What is Design Milk? Design Milk is a blog and media platform dedicated to modern design, serving up the freshest news in architecture, art, interior design, furniture and decor, fashion, and technology for over 10 years. After years of showcasing our favorite design finds, we created Design Milk Everyday so that our community could shop directly from the designers and makers we love so much.

Can I sell my products on Design Milk Everyday? Send our Brands Team an email at brands@designmilkeveryday.com with your linesheets, website, and/or catalogue, and we’ll let you know if there’s a good fit!

ORDERS

What payment options do you accept? You can pay for your order with a credit or debit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Maestro, Diners Club, and JCB), PayPal, or Klarna.

Can I place an order by phone? We’re happy to help you place an order by phone. Just contact our customer service team at 855-848-3886 between 9am and 6pm ET, Monday through Friday.

Do you charge sales tax? Sales tax is calculated at checkout depending on your shipping address. Some international orders also require duties and taxes.

How do I check the status of my order? If you have an account, log into your account and go to your Order History to check on the status of your order. Click on the Order Details link to see more details about your order, including tracking information if the designer has already shipped your order. Many of our items are handmade to order, so keep in mind that processing times vary by designer.

If you don’t have an account, you will receive an order confirmation email confirming that we have received your order. When your order is shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email letting you know. If you have any questions about an order, contact us for help.

How do I change or cancel my order? Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help you out!

What if I have a problem with my order? Contact us and we’ll do our best to make things right.

SHIPPING

Where do you ship? We ship anywhere in the US (including PO boxes and APO addresses). We also offer international shipping to many countries. Keep in mind that some items cannot be shipped internationally. If an item is prohibited from international shipping, you’ll find a note in the Shipping & Returns tab on the product page.

What shipping carriers do you use? Within the US, we ship via UPS Ground or USPS First Class and Priority Mail. Some of our designers may use other shipping methods, such as FedEx or DHL. We offer international shipping via FedEx and DHL.

Do you offer expedited shipping? Many of our designers make their products by hand, so expedited shipping isn’t always available. To check if your order can be expedited, contact our customer service team and we’d be happy to help.

I only received part of my order! What gives? Our items ship directly from the designers who make them. If your order includes items from multiple designers, your order will arrive in multiple packages. All shipping details can be found in your Order History.

How can I track my order? Once the designer ships your item, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so that you can follow your item’s journey. You can also find your item’s tracking number by clicking on the Order Details link in your Order History.

Please note that if your order includes items from multiple designers, your order will arrive in multiple packages.

How long will it take for me to receive my order? Processing and shipping times vary by designer. Most orders are processed within a few business days. To see the processing time for an item, check the Shipping & Returns tab on the product page. Once shipped, US orders typically take 3 business days to arrive.

How much does shipping cost? Shipping costs vary based on the shipping destination and the location of the designer. The exact price of shipping for your order will be automatically calculated at checkout, but here’s a quick overview:

Do you offer free shipping? We occasionally offer free shipping for orders shipped within the United States. To receive free shipping, your item must be shipped from a designer in the US to a destination in the US. To see where your item ships from, click on the Shipping & Returns tab on the product page.

How do you handle duties and taxes for international orders? If your shipping address is in a Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) country, all duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and included in your total. If your shipping address is in a Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) country, you are liable for all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes levied by the country to which you are shipping. You will have to pay all fees required to release your order from customs.

RETURNS

What is your return policy? Return policies vary by designer. Click the Shipping & Returns tab on the product page to see if your item is eligible for return. Most items in unused condition with the original packaging can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of receipt. We offer free returns for US orders.

All returns must arrive unused and in the original packaging. Items that are personalized, made to order, or one of a kind are not eligible for return. We reserve the right to refuse returns or issue store credit in place of a full refund.

How do I return an item? To start a return, contact us with your order number, which can be found in your Order History.

Can I exchange an item? The best way to exchange an item is to place a separate order for the new item and contact us to return the original item. We’ll do our best to assist you with this process.

I received a damaged or defective item. What do I do? If your order arrives in less-than-perfect condition, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make things right.

When will I receive a refund for my return? Once we have received your return, it may take a few business days to process and credit your account. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns about the return process.
